Svetlana Bursać opened independently her shoemaker craft in 1986 out of her wish and love for the shoemaker trade and handwork. Her Gloria crafts business is specialised in every kind of women’s shoes, which are mainly custom-made.

In 1991 Željko Lepotinec started his craft in Dugo Selo and it has been continuously running for 27 years now.

Lepen Design is engaged in designing and professional and high quality manual manufacturing of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear only of natural leather according to the measure, an idea, a drawing or a photo, and also makes shoe repairs.

This shoemaker’s shop situated right next to the busy Klaićeva Street has been successfully running since 1969. When it comes to tricks of the trade, Darijo Semenčić learned them from his father Bogoljub, who started the business of making men’s and women’s shoes and servicing shoes.

The tradition of well-known family craft Korman Shoes was founded by Josip Korman in 1973 at 29 Petrinjska Street. At first he was an apprentice, but after a while he decided to start his very own business. His son Damir took over the family business in 1990 and followed in his father’s footsteps in more challenging times.

Shoe salon Zlatko was founded by Zlatko Budiselić in 1973. His son Bruno took over the craft. Bruno has preserved the production quality to this very day.

Craftmen Alojz Strugar started the Strugar family shoemaking tradition in 1967. He takes the credit for the fact that their handmade men’s shoes, which have been listed as the best for 50 years, are so recognisable. His son Nenad took over the business and he added his own vision to the business concept thereby giving the brand a modern twist.

Zagreb’s Dalmatinska Street is the place where you’ll find a true oasis of unique women’s shoes. Craft Zvonimir has built quite a reputation in Zagreb and they’re famous for their one-of-a-kind women’s shoes ranging from classic to modern models. Zvonimir Simonović started the craft in 1978 and his daughter Nataša Trinajstić took over the business in the 1990s.

The R.I.M. craft tradition started in 1997 in Zaprešić and it was the brainchild of shoemaker Ivan Rubčić. After learning the tricks of the trade from his uncle, he passed the master’s examination and worked in different lines of business, he then opted for starting his own craft.

Shomaker Bočak has been cultivating the tradition of making men’s and women’s shoes of the highest quality since 1933. Mr. Renato Bočak, a member of the third generation in the family of shoemakers, is responsible for making modern shoes today. The craft business is recognizable for its combination of modern design and tradition.
