Owing to their impressive goldsmith background, the Crkvenac family is certainly one of the most deserving to be credited with the development and improvement of the goldsmith’s craft in Zagreb.

Today Tea Jagarinec is successfully running the family business started by her parents thirty years ago. For the last ten years she has been running the gold jewelry store Bijou together with her husband Dubravko. They make exclusively handmade jewelry.

Stjepan Pavlović is a renowned Zagreb goldsmith who’s been running his craft Štef since 1987 with their location being Ilica 52.

After 38 years Tomislav Volarić, renowned Zagreb watchmaker, has moved his small shop where he fixes all kinds of mechanical watches from downtown Zagreb to Paromlinska Street.

The watchmaker’s workshop has been operating at the same location since 1928, and the watchmaker Ivan Puzak took it over in 1981. After he had worked for the company Sat (Clock), he decided to apply the experience gained there by investing in and setting up his own business.

The legendary clockmaker’s shop was founded as far back as 1947 by Simeon Lebarović. Today it is owned by Dalibor Lebarović, the sixth clockmaker in the family.

When Mr. Vlado Šulevski came to Zagreb to study at a university, he could not have imagined that life had something completely different in store for him and that the workshop he set up in 1952 would be employing the third generation of his heirs already.
