Zagreb artist Olivera Cavrić has launched her own online store where she presented a collection of different series inspired by numerous topicalities. The virtual art shop also has a limited edition of 30 pieces inspired by the film Wings of Desire. Life as a Movie Screen is a description of the limited edition that you can check out at the link.

Last year was challenging for Olivera, but also inspiring, considering that she created a nine-part polyptych called Happy Holidays – which she presented at the HDLU Annual Exhibition in July last year. Also, in cooperation with the Zagreb association Vestigium, she devoted much of last year to drawing and painting courses where participants had the opportunity to experiment and learn drawing techniques.

This painter likes to say that she believes in the power of art and that each of us can find beauty in ourselves. My paintings are empowering and I believe art gives me courage and strength, says Olivera. She is proud of her souvenir collections Happy Zagreb, Happy Croatia and New Media, whose positive messages can now be found at an online store.
