“Inspiration is an interesting thing, comes from everywhere, it’s all around us… sometimes it’s all about some dogs, other times it’s all about some people, some texts, nature, sometimes it’s about the need to make some ideas of mine possible, even if it’s just a dream I had woken up with earlier”, explains Iva Capak, the owner of Utopia Craft.
“DasPas is a brand of dog clothes and everything your furry friend needs to be chic. In the centre of attention is the quality of the material because all the raincoats and wests are made of waterproof and windproof materials and they come in many interesting colours, so that the four-legs customers can choose the one that best fits with their personality. Every season, there is a limited collection of coats for all lovers of retro trends in which wool and jeans are prevalent, and a few pieces of braided material. The line of fashion accessories offers collars, scarves, sweat bags because if we do admit – every good fashion combination is nothing without some good details on a side”, Iva describes her collection.
As far as the DasPas collection is concerned, the buyers definitely prefer the waterproof and windproof materials produced in Croatia. Certainly the most sought-after items are multi-coloured impermeable jackets and coats for pets. Iva Capak creates collections in mini-series, giving the advantage to the dogs. As she says, she is creating for people only when she is inspired by a person, and it is possible to realize the idea quite soon. She loves to collaborate with various artists through projects and associations. “It fills me and meets my needs for something new”, she explains.
“Tri frtalja is a brand of accessories for people. In the centre of my attentions are handbags and backpacks, big and small, for the city, for work, for going to the beach, for a weekend trip, and for almost all occasions. They are made of high quality materials, textiles and rubber with maximum responsibility to the nature and animals”, Iva Capak tells of the other brand she had created within Utopia Craft.
For the future of her crafts she plans to continue to try out new materials, to penetrate new markets and different sales channels. “As every craftsman, you are constantly thinking of new plans and ideas, as well as always exploring and trying and finally producing new things”, she says, and adds that she constantly reviews and revises her Utopia web shop at www.utopia.com.hr or www.daspas.com.hr.
