As the business grew, there was a need to expand sales, diagnostic and production capacities so they expanded to several locations in the City of Zagreb where today they have four shops at the following addresses: Trg Stjepana Konzula 4, Importanne centar, Gajeva 19 i Varšavska 1. They have 16 employees with five of them working since the very beginning, which is something Branko Kraljević is particularly proud of.
“Everything has changed from when we started out business to today: the social structure, the transition from a planned economy to a capitalist one, the lifestyle, customer habits… When we started the business, there were just a few products in the eyeglass lenses market just to give you an example. The same goes for the prescription glasses and sunglasses market. Not only is today’s market flooded with a multitude of new products of varying quality, but be always have to keep up with constant innovation… today we use technologically most advanced materials in order to make and deliver the best possible product”, Branko Kraljević says.
He points out that running a business is far more complicated because of fierce competition, which increases the number of available products and services. In addition to that, technology has advanced rapidly, customers’ demands and expectations are significantly higher. But these demanding business parameters are actually the things that push them forward to step up their quality and improve. When compared to the time when we started, today you have to put in extra effort in doing business, invest in knowledge and technology, you have to be innovative. More intense competition in relation to before has differentiated the market and resulted in quality”, he explains.
