Željko Kušević is the third generation of carpenter’s family with a tradition dating back to 1947. “Grandfather Stjepan was a carpenter, and since 1991 I have started to lead the craftsmanship” says Željko Kušević. As he claims, over the past few decades, he has gained extremely precious and practical experience that he has applied to various carpentry products and furnishing projects, always in line with the latest developments and trends in the carpentry industry.

They used to work with the massive wood-based construction while, today’s offering is a wider range of carpentry services, with a focus on build-in wardrobe and custom-made kitchens. “We make and build custom-made furniture, wall coverings, staircases, room doors, kitchens and other furnishings for residential and business premises. We have lots of work, but it is difficult to find educated workers as there are not many schooled carpenters on the market”, explains Željko.
Their satisfied customers are the best indicators of the quality and tradition of the carpentry. Željko points out that the processes involved in carpentry are not appreciated enough by people nowadays; he emphasises how much the business depends on manual work, high quality construction and performance which cannot be replaced by machines. He has only one humble desire for the future – “to be held up”.
