“For Easter I have prepared eggs in two sizes, smaller and larger. These eggs can be hung on a chandelier or a frame because they are made of hollow glass and therefore they are very lightweight. They are decorated with natural materials, twigs and feathers, all in natural earthy colours and in pastel tones, “explains Šimunković and adds that her ornaments are ecological because the glass can be completely recycled. Šimunković points out that she has also prepared Easter arrangements with flowers, twigs, birds and eggs. “I’ve also prepared glass nests that can be decorated depending on your personal preferences,” the artist says, and emphasizes that glass is the main decoration, while everything else is complementary.

According to this year’s Easter date, we recommend our clients to decorate their homes with lilacs and peonies. Although it is always possible to find flowers from abroad, we recommend that you choose flowers from our environment for this occasion. Easter is somehow intimate, not as lavish as Christmas, so you should use the flowers that are in nature at that time.”

When Easter is concerned, the trends are changing more slowly, says Kravar and explains: “Ten years ago everyone wanted chickens as a decoration, and in recent years rabbits are more modern.
