She’s a qualified florist who started her own business in 2004. She hails from a family involved in the fruit business, but she fell in love with flowers as a child. She offers her customers floral works of art, bouquets and floral ornaments. We’re talking about natural materials that gives everything added aesthetic value and fragrance.
“This is a line of work where you just have to a sort of a psychologist. It involves working with people in both happy and sad occasions. Picking out flowers with the bride to mark her special day is quite different when compared to when a customer walks in to get flowers for a loved one’s funeral. That’s why I approach every single customer in a different way. It’s vital that you listen to your clients and work with them. Everyone’s happy then”, she says.

She points out that it used to be much easier to estimate the amount and duration of work, but the era of new technology has shifted everything. These fast changes have ushered in significant novelties to mark Poppy’s 13th anniversary. The salon used to be located on Britanac (Britanski trg), but soon it’s moving to Remete where it will act as a showroom.
Her unique arrangements made from cut flowers can be used at weddings, funerals, communions, confirmations, graduations, decorating office space and many other occasions and purposes.
