Omega watch repair

The watchmaker’s workshop has been operating at the same location since 1928, and the watchmaker Ivan Puzak took it over in 1981. After he had worked for the company Sat (Clock), he decided to apply the experience gained there by investing in and setting up his own business.
About

The profession of the watchmaker becoming ever more difficult to encounter is just an additional reason to learn more about the Zagreb downtown shop, which has been in successful operation for more than fifty years.

After investing resources and modernizing the workshop, Ivan Puzak opened an authorized Omega watch repair shop. Continuous development through years of investment in the shop has paid off in that Mr. Puzak has managed to survive in the age of electronic watches.

“By continuous education and by following the latest trends in the watch industry, we keep excellent quality of service, which has kept us afloat and successful even in the most difficult times for mechanical watches,” says Ivan Puzak.

Despite constant smart watch innovations, mechanical watches will always enjoy the special status among the true fans of unique Swiss watches.

“Watches used to be much more valued, and the trend of mechanical watches is coming back in style, which is certainly a great thing for the watchmaker’s trade. I believe that we will survive as there are no such trades anymore,” he adds.

Omega as a real icon of the watch industry takes special care that every authorized repair and service shop follows the tradition and Swiss rules, as a result of which this watchmaker’s workshop boasts first class equipment maintained carefully by their Swiss partners.

“The workshop is equipped for the most complex interventions on almost all watches, and our greatest advantage is uncompromising quality of service, to which thousands of our satisfied customers can testify. Efforts channeled into computerization and modernization as well as the strengthening of the working team lead to the further improvement of our services,” says Mr. Puzak.

“If you own a valuable watch, just remember that it is necessary to get it serviced every five years for it to remain flawless and serve the next generations as well. For a quality watch you don’t need to pay a fortune because you can buy a first class Longines watch for a sum ranging between two and five thousand kunas,” advises Mr. Puzak.

The watchmaker’s workshop is authorized to service Omega, Longines, Tag Heuer, and Rado watches, but you can also contact them for other makes of watches. If they determine that they can do the service, they will be more than glad to accept your watch.

Today the workshop employs a team of four master watchmakers who have obtained Croatian and Swiss certificates, one of whom is Ivan Puzak’s daughter. She will continue the family business, thus keeping the small workshop very much alive on the Zagreb map of traditional craft businesses.
